With the view that Charis has toward the dubstep scene, whatever moves are being made, she definitely aims to be an influence in that movement and the reality is, she’s been heading in the right direction. While there is plenty of range in style on her new mixtape, "Mixtape Vol. I: Elena is Here" one song she sang shows her capabilities in a different light. Charis covers the song “Zombie,” by The Cranberries, and flawlessly slaps her own style to it, displaying a great level of comfort and flexibility.
Charis is one of those artists who could do pretty much whatever she wants to do with her voice. I look forward to hearing some powerful messages and fun tracks from Elena Charis.
