Elena Charis is a recording artist, independent artist and DJ host from Los Angeles,  California. Recently Elena has acquired the nickname of “DJ ECP” through hosting radio shows “The Kuldesac Krew” and “Women Crush Wednesdays” on TKK Radio. Through almost a  decade DJ ECP has been co-hosting and producing radio broadcasts world-wide. It was through her early work as an independent artist that paved the way for her becoming the owner of internet radio station, TKK RADIO, in early 2020. 

 

    As an independent artist Elena Charis practices creative freedom and has worked on many projects with artists and producers across the globe. Her most popular collaboration, Save the Night, with Greece producer, Panos Savvidis, having over 150,000 streams. Save the Night gained much exposure in the Sri Lanka nightlife and landed Elena a feature with one of Sri Lanka’s hottest artist-producers, Dimi3. Their collaboration, “Man Lankawe”, was created for Sri Lanka’s team during the 2019 Cricket World Cup. Other international collaborations include Turkey, Germany, France, Canada, and South Africa. Throughout the years her music has been featured in international online magazines, national and international blogs, to national and local internet radio play. Some of Elena’s loyalist support comes through Germany’s online rap communities.

 

    TKK RADIO (the Kuldesac Krew Radio) was created from Elena’s original radio show “Now That’s Wassup (on the cul-de-sac)” aired originally aired on Rapping Lounge Radio in 2013. The show and now internet radio station has a very important motto of “We Come From All Different Sides of the Cul-De-Sac” and  provides a platform for the community through its diverse independent music. Since the 2020 launch of TKK Radio it has become one of the homes to NYC’s popular syndicated show, The Ryan Show FM, starring Ryan Vernueille, Hampton’s Dave, and Grammy Winner, Mr. Cheeks.    After over a year on hiatus, Elena Charis has finally released her latest trap singles “RICH” and “PULL UP” (prod. 27Corazones Beats). In the same month her first featured bilingual song premiered with Los Angeles, California’s Letra Magica 503 (Raised in the Hood ft Ras Kass, Flesh n’ Bones) with great response. Other    upcoming projects to be released this summer include a double-feature on the 2020 return of Germany’s underground cult classic rap mix-tape series, In Da Game Records as well as international remixes of her newly released single “RICH”.
